Nothing, they can sit in their Tower on the Coast and fire out PDf's till they gain back every penny I refused to give them over the last 10 or so years and it won't matter one bit.
Do you think Pazio is worried about the 3.X re-release? Did it really affect them one bit? Did they rush to their blogs and their Forums spouting DOOM and GLOOM because nobody will need the Advanced Uber Slayer, Feat Bloat, Class Book part Seven?
Simple fact is I think it's great YEAH! Old stuff in PDF! Hooray!

They can slap new covers and link the table of contents all they want, but the truth of the matter is 5e is around the corner and when it get released, that's it. Sure the PDFs will more than likely remain available, but do you think the are gonna support B/X with new adventures and new material?
No.
5e will be the new bad boy in town, then 6e, then 7e then...on and on until the End of Hasbro. Gawds above bless that day.
But that's why Paizo doesn't care, they took something they Loved "Fixed" it and now support it with Uber flashy Anime Swords and Half naked Sorcerers!
They don't need WotC.

Stopped supporting them when they axed 3rd. Even with the new PDFs they still do not get it. I already have what I needed. The OSR does not need them either. The OSR has their own community. Support it.
